steam my hair?

I have long, black, wavy hair! its thick! i need to make it less fluffy and i want it to stay.wht should i do?

Paul Mitchell super skinny serum is a miracle in a bottle. It smoothes your hair and makes it more manageable.

You tell me about it I have long black thick hair and it is way down to my knees. My advice to you is that you should try using the shampoo and conditioner that I use Finesse. it tames my wild mane. I can brush without tangles and once oit is managable for me I am happy Try it You may like it

a layered look will make it look thicker. us a flat iron or straightener whichever you want to call it, it will take the frizz out of your hair, but use something for heat before you do it so you dont give yourself split ends. you can also try a leave in conditioning treatment it might help the frizziness. have you tried drying your hair upside down? that makes it think and heavy believe me i used to have hair to my rearend and it was really stringy, so i would flip it upside down and dry it.

straighten it, thats what i do. then use hairspray to hold it down.

My best friend has think wavy hair And when she wears it wavey it looks gorgious

Okay first when you get out of the shower just pat your hair dry

Dont rub it this will make it frizzy

Then you put some mousse or gel in your hair

And let it dry naturally.

Looks gorgious everytime :]

I have long, black, wavy hair! its thick! i need to make it less fluffy and i want it to stay.wht should i do?

well i had long thick curly hair and when i did i would put infusium 23 in it and hot 6 oil so it wouldn't get as tangled and the oil helps to keep it from getting real frizzy and I always pulled it back into a low ponytail and braided it. If I wanted to wear it down I would put a lil bit of mousse to keep the wave. I recently got my hair cut in layers the shortest layer being shoulder length but it's still pretty thick even though I had them go through it with a razor and thin it out a lil. It's easy to manage though I can throw a lil water in my hair so it curls up. Oil to keep it from being frizzy and mousse to keep the curl and it only takes me about 5 min. to do my hair everyday. I use to hate combing my hair when it was long it took forever and made my arm tired. Oh ya and use a comb instead of a brush it doesn't break your hair as much and combing makes it less frizzy then brushing too at least on my hair it does. They also have anti-frizz serum that you can buy at any store that sells hair care products actually I'm sure they have a whole line of hair products for naturally curly/wavy hair try using some of those

Good Luck I know how you feel

Ask a salon to thin out your hair some. then use a frizz-ease type product and some mousse for hard to hold hair. I have the same hair type.

Ive got really long hair-till my hips and i wanna style it fer this dance jig on 5th....?

Ive got really long hair-till my hips and i wanna style it fer this dance jig on 5th....?

Gel your hair and pull it up into an up do. Have some hair hanging out in the front and pull into a high ponytail and put some curls in it using a curling iron. . . . . .

Get a curling iron where you can curl it to be in ringlets and dress it up that way and let it hang down your back. That sounds like a tedious job for you to do with all that hair. Get a friend to help with the curling if you choose to do that.

Suggestions are limited since you don't want to cut , color or go to a stylist. Good Luck!!

Swing that hair and have fun at the "JIG" !!! (don't let anyone get too tangled up in it unless you plan to take them home) :D

I have really long hair-past my butt about 5 inches and I don閳ユ獩 want to cut it?

I don閳ユ獩 want to cut it because it閳ユ獨 against my religion but I really want to put my hair down

somehow is there a hairstlye%26gt;?

because when i go to school, my hair gets in the way alot,

i'm also sick of putting it in a bun EVERYDAY!

btw my hair doesnt curl THAT MUCH either..sucks:(

I have really long hair-past my butt about 5 inches and I don閳ユ獩 want to cut it?

you could try scrunching it

I have really long hair-past my butt about 5 inches and I don閳ユ獩 want to cut it?

braid or bun. thats about all you CAN do with it

I have really long hair-past my butt about 5 inches and I don閳ユ獩 want to cut it?

Can you braid it or just use a barrette and make a loop?

I don't know how skilled you are, but here's a website with some pictures of long hair styles.

I have really long hair-past my butt about 5 inches and I don閳ユ獩 want to cut it?

your religion should not dictate how long your hair is. if you personally want to get it cut, then cut it.

I have really long hair-past my butt about 5 inches and I don閳ユ獩 want to cut it?

you could maybe get layers if its not going against your religion but otherwise you could try putting it up in other cute ways like half-up or a long braid

I have really long hair-past my butt about 5 inches and I don閳ユ獩 want to cut it?

i knew 3 sisters who all had long hair past their butts. they would braid it and wrap around their head... looked super cute on them. french braids will make it seem shorter too.

I have really long hair-past my butt about 5 inches and I don閳ユ獩 want to cut it?

try a perm. or braid it. Spiral perms r cute. also, check out

http://www.youtube.com and search for hairstyles. They'll show you videos of how to style your hair. good luck.

I have really long hair-past my butt about 5 inches and I don閳ユ獩 want to cut it?

You could always try a fancy updo, or loose curls (more of a romantic wave).

If you want to freshen up the bun idea, get some hair ornaments! We're past the days of cheap plastic barrettes. Try going to an art supply store and picking up some cheap, tiny fabric flowers with wire and twisting them into a braided bun, or you can add ribbons.

Additionally, going to a beauty supply store- or even a lot of drug stores, I know Rite Aid's carry them- will usually bring up hair jewels or barrettes with lovely designs, like butterflies and such.

I have really long hair-past my butt about 5 inches and I don閳ユ獩 want to cut it?

wit braids ur hair CURLS!!wat religon are u from????????

I have really long hair-past my butt about 5 inches and I don閳ユ獩 want to cut it?

thats really really long,

braid I guess.. but it would still be very long.

if I were you I'd make an exception and cut it,

unless that is comeletly out of quesiton..

?

I have really long hair-past my butt about 5 inches and I don閳ユ獩 want to cut it?

What about putting it in a low pony tail and looping it back through? Hopefully it will give the illusion of having your hair down but will be shorter.

I have really long hair-past my butt about 5 inches and I don閳ユ獩 want to cut it?

well, if you're allowed to layer it, you should. It will still be that long but just alot thinner and it wont get in your way as much, especially in your eyes.

or else you could put your hair half up and half down. so technically it would still be a tad down =]

hope that helped

I have really long hair-past my butt about 5 inches and I don閳ユ獩 want to cut it?

if you want to wear it down, put on a headband so it stays out of your face. Or, Curl it, although that would make it even more distracting. hmm... That's tough but I'd say that a headband is your best bet if you cant cut it.

I have really long hair-past my butt about 5 inches and I don閳ユ獩 want to cut it?

try a french braid, then twisting that into a bun...just for a change.

or just a braid.

google hairstyles and see if you can find any that you think you can change to fit with your hairstyle and situation.

try washing it at night before bed, then braiding it to sleep it. it should be wavy in the morning! try 2 or more braids to get tighter waves (1 braid for looser waves, more for smaller waves...depends on how you want it to look.)

you've got plenty of hair to try this

http://content.answers.com/main/content/...

plus it's really pretty. :)

no clue how to do this, but play around until you figure it out. it looks like it makes you hair a lot shorter than it really is, so this might be useful to you.

http://www.nzgirl.co.nz/images/articles/...

this is also a really pretty style

http://www.highonhair.com/images/stories...

it seems like braids of sorts would be helpful to make you hair new and a little shorter seeming. next bit of free time you have, just play with your hair in different styles...make it up as you go! see what you like and what is easy and cute, and what works best for what you're looking for.

good luck!

Can you give me some ideas on "scene" hair cuts for curly hair?

I have curly hair about a little past the shoulders, actually it's almost touching my chest, so it's pretty long but I don't want to shorten the legth cause it took my years to grow out. and I don't want to straighten it all the time. So what do you think? Any ideas? Pictures?

Can you give me some ideas on "scene" hair cuts for curly hair?

Hi! I'm not scene, but I DO have curly hair about the length of yours. At 2am last night I decided to see if I could make it a little more scene. I think I did a pretty good job considering I've never seen a scene girl in real life, and I'm NOT a scene girl, and I don't even have a scene cut!

The only parts I straightened were my bangs, and I kinda messed the rest of it up.

Hope I helped! :D

Can you give me some ideas on "scene" hair cuts for curly hair?

go to Google and type in scene haircuts ad click images and BOOM! you have tons of picture and ideas.

Can you give me some ideas on "scene" hair cuts for curly hair?

Its kind of hard to think of curly hair ideas. Maybe you should straighten it more, and just find a picture on the internet of a scene girl, and show it to your hair dresser. They straighten it and cut it the way you want.

Can you give me some ideas on "scene" hair cuts for curly hair?

Go to Audrey Kitching's buzznet. [audrey.buzznet.com] and go check out her pictures. She has curly hair in some of them.

Can you give me some ideas on "scene" hair cuts for curly hair?

How about everybody just GETS OVER this ridiculous "scene" obsession!!! It is not attractive, it is not flattering, it is not hot or cute or cool or different or unique! Just BE YOURSELF. Curly hair is gorgeous, and I guarantee you there is no "SCENE" haircut out there that is designed for curls unless you literally want to straighten it every. single. day. Which is not worth it whatsoever. So embrace those curls and stop worrying about "The Scene"

Can you give me some ideas on "scene" hair cuts for curly hair?

it is really ":in" to have a posh haircut. many many girls including myself are styling them at our school. we have a lot of girls with curly hair. It is when your hair is kinda short and a littlle longer in the front and shorter in the back. it looks espesially stylish wen ur hair is naturally curly

http://expertscorner.lussori.com/wp-cont...

many hollywood-ians are stylin it too!!

best of luck! please pick me! my account was deleted and i had level 3 :(

Can you give me some ideas on "scene" hair cuts for curly hair?

i have very curly hair that i wear in a '20's style bob with purple streaks...i'd suggest choppy layers that will take out some of the bulk curly hair tends to gain when it gets longer %26amp; will also give you something of an alternative look or an asymmetrical cut that would utilize the texture of your hair rather than fighting against it like most scene looks would (curly hair is no good with a side-swept bang). also, you could check out hairstyles from the '20's %26amp; '30's, since curly/wavy haired looks were popular then %26amp; the styles look very unique compared to most modern looks.

How long can hair go for without being cut/trimmed at all?

Thanks much. ;)

How long can hair go for without being cut/trimmed at all?

Forever... I know a girl who has never cut her hair and it is super long...

How long can hair go for without being cut/trimmed at all?

As long as you want

How long can hair go for without being cut/trimmed at all?

Forever. There are certain religious sects that the women never cut their hair--ever.

How long can hair go for without being cut/trimmed at all?

should be trimmed every 6-8 weeks. if not its just get unhealthy... split ends, etc

How long can hair go for without being cut/trimmed at all?

For as long as you want it to :)

Hair doesn't HAVE to be trimmed - people get it done regularly either because they want their hair at a specific length, or because they get split ends. Just let your hair grow out, and if the ends are getting a bit nasty and thin, cut them. That's all I do.

How long can hair go for without being cut/trimmed at all?

Idealy, you should trim your ends every six months says my stylist, but I've gone a whole year without cutting my hair because I'm trying to grow it long, but I do condition it as often as every other month. My hair is healthy now, but there was a time when it wasn't because I wasn't neither trimming it neither conditioning it.

How long can hair go for without being cut/trimmed at all?

As long as you want, but you are gonna have split ends. And personally having thin, fine hair, if I miss a hair cut, my hair looks stringy. And getting trimmed just helps it grow, if you are trying to grow it out. Just make sure you tell your stylist that you want the minimum amount taken off.

How long can hair go for without being cut/trimmed at all?

Long enough to scare the hell out of me...from one of our homeless man on the street. His dirty hairs was actually dragging to his belonging above the ground. Yuk!

How long can hair go for without being cut/trimmed at all?

Forever.

How long can hair go for without being cut/trimmed at all?

Everyone's hair grows an average of an half an inch a month. If you wait more than 4-5 weeks to trim the split ends off....eventually they break off. When that happens you break off more than the half inch you grew.

However, if you trim the very ends every 4 weeks to prevent the breakage from occuring in the first place...you will keep most of that half inch you grow every month. Combine that with a salon shampoo and conditioner....and you can get 6 or more inches of healthy hair every year.

The biggest trick is finding that special hairdresser than will only trim the very tips. If you explain what you're doing...they should work with you of getting the length to where you want it. The other thing in growing your hair out is to always grow from style to style....not length to length. That way you're never going to be bored with your hair and be tempted to cut it off...;)

Always use professional products, they are formulated to not buildup on the hair as fast and to actually strengthen the hairshaft. There is no magic to getting long hair. You can try all the little concoctions people suggest....but the bottom line is you hair will grow from the root no matter what you do to the already grown hair. Once the hair has left the follicle...it's consider dead keratin protien. You just need to treat it right so it stays looking nice.

How long can hair go for without being cut/trimmed at all?

pretty much forever.. but then it would be gross and not healthy.

you are ''supposed to'' get a trim at least every 2 or 3 months to keep it healthy and with out split ends

How long can hair go for without being cut/trimmed at all?

As long as you want but if you are aiming to grow your hair super long I would say trim the split ends about every 6 months

How do i make my hair long in 10 days Please dont say dont cut it?

Sorry man, this doesnt have anything you can do about it (thats FDA approved). If you are really desparate, and dont need to go out much, put some weight on your hair, to retain tension on it. Ive actually tried that for a side-swipe emo style hair, and it friggin worked. Put about 3 pounds per 1 inch of hair, make sure its securly attatched, but thats just somethin random i tried. Try GMC or Google, they might have something. Moisturizing your scalp might work too, lessen tension on your hair where your hair grows. The first works sorta, the rest im just speculating.

How do i make my hair long in 10 days Please dont say dont cut it?

you cant make your hair grow in ten day its impossible please get realistic dreams or extensions.

How do i make my hair long in 10 days Please dont say dont cut it?

Hair extensions.

How do i make my hair long in 10 days Please dont say dont cut it?

theres no way to make your hair longer it grows an inch like every month

How do i make my hair long in 10 days Please dont say dont cut it?

If there was a way in getting longer hair in 10 days, I'm pretty sure every girl would be doing whatever it is to increase the hair growth rate.

Get human clip in hair extensions. They're cheaper then the others because you don't need to go a salon to get them put in, and they're easily made.

eBay, has some good ones. Make sure its Remy, though.

How do i make my hair long in 10 days Please dont say dont cut it?

You must be very young to think this is actually possible...

How do i make my hair long in 10 days Please dont say dont cut it?

It isn't possible, realistically. But you can create the illusion of more length with particular hair styles and tricks. For instance, if you take some of the hair on the very top only and make a pony tail, it will add height to the overall appearance of total length. If your hair is very short, then all I can recommend is back-combing to give height to the top for an over all look of more length.

If you want quick long hair for a special occasion or event, you can get removable long hair extension pieces from a wig store. These attach with hidden combs and barettes, and with the right color choice, they look very real.

Hair catastrophe?

I got my layers from a professional hairstylist, and I never like the results when I get my hair cut professionally. I noticed my layers weren't blending together very well so I decided to give both layers a minor trim to see if it would help. That worsened the problem and I looked like a man. I trimmed my bangs a little to see if that would help. Then I looked like a cross between David Spade and my brother's 5th grade picture. In a fit of rage, I cut off the entire bottom layer even with the top layer. Now it's above my shoulders, which looks horrible because I'm tall with big shoulders and a long neck. I used to have nice full wavy hair and now all I'm left with is a hideous bob that makes me look like a little boy with long hair. I'm about ready to cry. Is there anything I can do to make it look less horrible?

Hair catastrophe?

Call the salon and make an appointment to see them tomorrow. I recommend taking a night and relaxing. Try to find out solutions WITHOUT SCISSORS!

If your bangs are too short, then perhaps your stylist can work with them. I managed to make 'side swept' bangs from my way-too short bangs...

Give the scissors to a trusted family member who will keep them away from you. Now sit in front of the mirror, take a piece of paper and start listing PROS, CONS and OPTIONS about what to do with your hair. There are lots of trendy short hair options that look ok with long necks and larger shoulders.

If you have wavy hair, suggest to the stylist that you get softer layers to bring out your natural texture.

DO NOT go back to the stylist you saw today. Call the salon and ask to see someone else, or call a different salon.

I feel your pain. At the beginning of the summer I went to this salon and asked her to trim the length of my hair and said, "DO NOT touch my bangs", I left the salon with Bif Naked bangs (circa 1990s) and a bob. I looked like a drag queen. I have an oval face and a biggish forehead, so blunt bangs ending midforehead was NOT a good look. I had a wedding three days later...

Google 'short and medium hair cuts', print out things you like. You can bring in a couple pictures and they can hopefully make one that works for you.

Sorry about the hair! I feel your pain...

Hair catastrophe?

you should look online or through magazines or something to find a hair style that will be a little sshorter than what you have now. just make it look better. you may not like it for a while but hair always grows back :-)

Hair catastrophe?

Go back to a professional salon (probably a different one than the first) and see what they can do with what you have left.

When you go, bring your scissors with you and LEAVE THEM THERE.

Hair catastrophe?

maybe hair extensions?

Hair catastrophe?

you could always try hair extensions.
