Mommified hair?

I had long hair since my teens- my avatar, I'm now hitting my 30s, and I'm a mom. I felt kind of stuck out from the crowd, my son just ask me why don't I cut my hair to shoulder length or short like many mothers of his friends. He said it's embarassing for me to look young, when I'm not. So what type of hair cut do you think I should get?

Ha Ha! He said you were old! I can't laugh to much I am about the same age you are. :) I would cut your hair to your shoulders or just below your shoulders. I think women with very short hair are not as attractive although I have seen a few that were. Just make it about an inch or so below your shoulders that way he feel better and you will still have long beautiful hair. When you go to pick him up from school or anything put it up in a pony tail that may make him feel a little easier. Ha, he is sad that his mommy looks better than all the other mommies how cute. :)

i say to the shoulders, with Slight side part/side bangs, but not to much or you'll still have that young look.

You look pretty ! And it shouldnt be embarrassing for a mom to look young. I would rather have a young looking mom then a mom that looks like my grandmother. That would be so much more embarressing.

I would NOT suggestt to cut your hair shoulder length. If you want it shorter dont get it short enough to be shoulder length.

You are pretty young, and you should be proud to look like it. I personally don't think your son should decide what your hair is like. But if you want it shorter, I suggest just an inch or so below your shoulders. It would look really nice.

If, however, you feel your life no longer allows time to care for and style that length properly, consider one of the new layered bobs that are so popular right now. They're cute and more mature without being too matronly.

I think that long hair is most beautiful hairstyle on a woman---it also makes one appear more youthful, in a positive way. If you like having your long hair, I suggest you keep it and don't cut it. I personally have long hair and I don't intend to cut it until I start going grey.
