Hair cut Question!?

I have really long hair its like down to my belly button. Its kinda a dark blonde really light brown color.And i want to get realIy heavy blonde highlights in it too.Iwant to know how you think i should get it cut. And its really thick too. soo give me ideas on length, style or anything. You all will be a great help! Please and thankyou! O and NO smart @ss comments either. Oh and post pics if you want!

Well, I guess how short to go would depend on how attached you are to your long hair. Sounds to me that long, thick, heavy hair would contribute to headaches and neck aches from the weight. Perhaps you could lighten the load a bit and donate some of your locks to "Locks of Love" to help make wigs for kids with cancer and still have plenty of length left over. You could ask your hairdresser about that.

I don't think you need to cut it, but do what feels right. Do what you want and what makes you happy. Layering might look nice though.

I personally like women with shorter hair, but the look is really up to you. If you like how some people with your facial features look like in short hair, then maybe you ought to think along that line.

If you do decide to get it cut, it would be nice if you would save the hair and donate it to the children who lose their hair though having to take chemo for their cancer. There is a place on the web where you can donate it, and believe me, these young ladies have enough to worry about with their cancer. Having your spare hair is a god-send to them.

I believe they accept donations of hair which is at least 8 inches long.
