What's in on curly hair? long or short?

I've got hair like this goes past the shoulders, when I straighten goes half way down the back... so should I cut it super short and mousse it or trim it but keep it long?

well, with curly hair, you could really go either way if you straighten it, but it really depends on wether you have thick or thin hair, because if its thick, the shorter you cut it, the less weight there is pulling it down so it gets more poofy and bigger but if its thin then youre one of the lucky ones that can straighten your hair if you cut it short and have it look fabulous! hope i helped!

you have beautiful hair ....my daughter is mixed race and has hair just like yours......keep it long and use plenty of conditioner and products to control the frizz......she uses GHD hairstraighteners after blow drying and it looks great and super smooth

I think curly hair looks best when it's kept around the shoulders. When some girls allow their curly hair to get long, some parts of it get wavy and other parts just break and get curly around their face, which looks awful... but cutting it too short makes you look like Annie or like you have an afro, and that's not much fun either.
